EA Makes The Final Round of ‘Worst Company in America’ Contest

8:43 pm - 04/02/2012

March Madness has reached its finale, and so has The Consumerist's tournament to determine the worst company in America.

Game publisher Electronic Arts has officially made it to the Finals, where it will face off against Bank of America in a reader vote to determine which company is the worst forever and ever. The winner will net the Golden Poo, which is an actual thing, as Consumerist editor Meg Marco told me last week.

"Maybe if EA wins we'll offer them a choice of three different colored cushions to place it on," she said.

I can't help but think that outrage over the Mass Effect 3 ending has something to do with this....

Paypal should have won, hands down.

Mmm, I don't know, Bank of America is pretty evil.

Yeh, I just have a personal beef with PP. :(

Bummer. What happened? :(

They shut down my PP for no reason, and so I made another one and they made it so that I can't buy anything with my account. They said the reasoning is that I hadn't made any purchases in a while, but it was December. I was buying everything in the world at that time.

That was my first reaction too.

of course ME3 is factoring into it. EA sucked before that the game dropped though.

actually i'm surprised paypal didn't make it further, given all the things i've heard them pull.

Lol at Gamestop vs Walmart. I dislike them both but Gamestop didn't have a chance against WalMart.

But Comcast is worse than EA, if you ask me.
